Unraveled Sheep a dream come true for me.
Every since I started knitting in 8th grade, I have been addicted to yarn, fiber and knitting.  Although I spent years in the corporate world I was always knitting, attending knitting classes at Stitches West and other classes through-out the country.  Eventually my life changed and enabled me to fulfill my dream and own a yarn shop. 
I love to knit, crochet, design, and continually learn new methods of working with fiber, lace, fair isle and lots of new techniques.  I like to continually expand my knowledge about fibers, techniques and share this information with all my friends.  I hope you always find Unraveled Sheep as a comfortable, warm shop with a great selection of yarns, ideas for your next project.  I want you to succeed with your projects and will always try to guide you to the best fit of project, skill level, pattern, and yarn,

Company history
Unraveled Sheep has been been assisting the knitting/crocheters of Sandy/Salt Lake City area for over 5 years.  I have the great assistance of my sister Marietta who is always there for me, talking to customers , balling yarn.

Happy anniversay Verla! I never enjoyed knitting as much as I do now, since moving to Utah and finding you and your shop! You are a true gift to the world of knitting and a blessing to all knitters who a lucky enough to find the Unravelled Sheep. Happy memories of the past four and many, many new happy memories for the next many years to come!


I was newly retired, and adrift in the world of knitting. I found a friend, someone to look up to, someone to encourage me, allowed me to spread my knitting wings, and someone who threw me for a loop with all of her crazy knitting ideas.


Congratulations to your 4 years. Wishing you many many more. The Unraveled Sheep is the best shop I have found in a very long time. I have met some of the neatest people and made some wonderful friends. Verla and all have always been there for me through good times and bad times, always listening and never passing judgement, but always making me feel better. Thanks again.
